Jeep Lift Install in BR? (edited pg1)

GF bought me a TeraFlex 2.5” lift for my 2 door JK for my birthday. I’d install it myself but after adding up the costs of buying a jack, stands, etc it might be cheaper to pay for the labor (unless an OBer wants to lend me the tools
).
Suggestions on places in/around BR that will install a lift that was already purchased?
How much might I be looking at for labor? Shouldn't be a big job: front/rear spring spacers, rear sway bar links, rear brake line extensions.
ETA: Bought the jack and stands. Thanks OB.

Nah man. Do it yourself buy the jack and stands and even if it breaks even in cost now you have a 3 ton jack and jack stands.

Last I priced a Taraflex 2.5 lift, it was cheaper than the two local shops wanted for the install.
Buy the tools needed and do it yourself. It’s not a difficult project. But it is time consuming as it takes the better part of a day.

It’s not that hard. I did a rubicon express 2.5 in my drive way with a battery powered ryobi impact I’m just over 4 hours. It’s really simple. Just hit harbor frieght for the jack and stands. 150 bucks and you’ll learn so much about how your jk suspension works.

Buy jacks and stands. You'll need them again. Trust me.

Oh and rent the coil spring compression tool from Auto Zone if you end up needing it.

Just buy everything you need and do it yourself. Its a Jeep, you're gonna need all the tools you can get.

First....
Niiiiiiice! (Oh, and the obligatory...Pics!)
You gotta jeep, you will need those stands and the jack anyway. Harbor Freight is good enough for both. You're probably looking at at least $500 for the install. Maybe more since they won't be making profit off the kit purchase.

I got that exact same lift put on by Searchers... didn't find them to be unreasonable and did good work

it would probably cost you about $150 to buy all the tools, probably get away cheaper at harbour freight. You are probably at least $500-1000 for install

I do not recommend doing this. I'm speaking from personal experience. After one of these failed on me, and a bolt traveling at the speed of light flew 2 inches from my head. I now attend church every Sunday. If you need a coil compressor just bring it to a tire shop and have them do it for you.

Be careful with those Jack Stands.
They look to be undersized for what you are trying to do. In other words you’ll have to probably fully extend them to reach the frame and then they will not be stable.
I’d return them and get the 12 tons.

yup depending on the tire size. might need to take wheels off prior to stands then lower frame on to jack stands after wheels are off. Doable with that size stands. biggest issue might be jack not going up high enough, might need a block or something

get at least a racheting combo wrench in the size nut for for front shock tops. its a pain in the arse with a normal socket set, because you need a deepwell and there isnt any room
And I dont even use a creeper anymore on mine. I just crouch under. Oil changes are cake with my engine I only have to put one knee on the ground

too bad you aren't in SWLA. we have wrench parties at my shop pretty regularly. 2 and 4 post lifts, spin balancer, tire machine and alignment computer. love working on the jeeps- new or old.
