I don't believe Jesus taught against the possession of spears, swords or regulations around them. This is the area of civics.

Try as they might, the very essence of Protestantism is sticking to that which is described in the Book and only described in the Book. These power-mongers at the head of church organizations espouse their platitudes but there is no official expectation for us as congregants to G.A.S. unless its in the Bible.
