As long as these people are placed on that list by due process, you know, with evidence n shite.

I get it Lou, this is a tough question for you.

You asked if a known isis sympathizer on the no fly list should own a firearm. There’s only a handful of reasons you would ask such a stupid question. I gave you the benefit of the doubt and assumed you were attempting to play a gotcha game. I was wrong. You’re just stupid.

What’s the gotcha answer smarty pants?

Do you think we should limit the rights of an entire populace because of any potential risk, no matter how statistically insignificant?
Posted on 2/23/18 at 6:35 pm to TigerOnTheMountain
What about ISIS boy’s due process rights?
Should his Second Amendment rights be violated simply because he’s visited certain websites and espouses a certain worldview?

It’s an interesting question in that should the criteria that gets you on a no fly preclude you from buying a gun if you are a US citizen.
Posted on 2/23/18 at 6:37 pm to GeorgeTheGreek
No. We should hang them. You like ISIS? You get the rope

If a liberal wants to own a gun, let them try to pass the background. Simple yes.

I’m not sure. Flying isn’t a constitutional right, but we’ve deemed this home bred ISIS sympathizer a big enough threat where they can’t even fly so you tell me?...
Posted on 2/23/18 at 6:41 pm to GeorgeTheGreek
Are they actively supporting ISIS? Are they an American citizen?
Posted on 2/23/18 at 6:41 pm to GeorgeTheGreek
Well, if they are a mentally ill ISIS sympathizer they don't have to buy a gun,
The FBI will find them and offer them one (or a bomb) so your hypothetical has no merit.

Freedom of movement, freedom of assembly, freedom to liberty is a right. So if the right to travel is a right there should be sufficient reason to ban you from owing a firearm. That said there should be a process for that unlike Civil Forefiture.

Absolutely, slippery slope...

They’re not mentally ill, they just sympathize with ISIS. Who said anything about mental illness?

If it isn't a right, how is that applicable to my question about limiting rights?
Posted on 2/23/18 at 6:45 pm to BBONDS25
Maybe it doesn’t, that’s why I posted the question in the OP.
Posted on 2/23/18 at 6:46 pm to GeorgeTheGreek
If you are not willing to Pledge Allegiance to our Flag and our Country,if you will not defend our Constitution, then absolutely NO
You are either with or against America

So if you are a US citizen but on the Do Not Fly list, would you be in favor of taking away their 2nd Amendment right?
Posted on 2/23/18 at 6:50 pm to 14&Counting
I don’t think it’s interesting at all. Anyone who says no, isn’t in favor of constitutional rights including due process. Georgie boy here posted this is a gotcha attempt for conservatives. A weak attempt at that.
