Gov. Eric Greitens was indicted Thursday afternoon by a St. Louis grand jury on felony invasion of privacy.
The charges stem from a 2015 affair and allegations that he threatened to release a nude photograph of the woman, taken while she was blindfolded and her hands were bound, if she ever spoke publicly about the affair.

this is interesting
i'm curious about the statute

And earlier this week, while debating a bill that would outlaw “revenge porn,” Republicans overwhelming supported amending the bill to make it a felony to threaten someone with releasing a sexually explicit photo.

He’s a shady cat. Checks every box to be Superman. Rhodes Scholar, Navy SEAL and charity leader.
Was a Democrat until he decided for governor. Planned on being president.
Then, decided to cheat on his wife.
Pussy is still undefeated.

"revenge porn" being a crime, let alone a felony
and telling a woman who is threatening to out your affair that you'll release a pic of her doing bondage stuff is hardly "blackmail" in my eyes.

The woman involved in the matter has not made a comment and has repeatedly declined to participate in any news articles. The confession was recorded without her knowledge by her ex-husband and released to the media without her consent.

I get that this is a-hole Behavior but honestly I don't see what is criminal about it
I mean unless he blindfolded her and tied her up against her will

The amount of good oppo research and blackmail material on my generation's politicians will be insane.

i don't think it should be a crime regardless, as long as she knew the photo was being taken at the time and it wasn't some peeping tom issue (which i don't think is an allegation). it's a very big stretch for "blackmail".

Based on TD post history alone, most are already disqualified from ever holding public office.
