I love a good frozen Fish Bowl full of draft beer! They are becoming extinct now with ACME no longer serving fish bowls and being one of the last restaurants that did. Anyone know a place serving them in Baton Rouge?

Step 1: Buy fishbowl and beer
Step 2: Put said fishbowl in freezer
Step 3: Remove fishbowl from freezer and fill with beer

Brightside used to have them and if I remember correctly there was a $2 fish bowl night.

Poor Boy Lloyd's downtown still has them.
Superior Grill (on Highland) had them last Friday during Happy Hour (though they were smaller than a usual fishbowl)

The ole lady bought these about a year ago. They’re pretty handy for all sorts of bowl functions.

Long ago Mike's (RIP) used to have $2 fish bowls. I think frosty fishbowls were invented to coverup shitty beer. That is all I have...

Make the trek to Hammond and go to Wiseguys daiquiri shop. Near frozen miller lite fishbowls all day for $3.

Can't mention Hammond and frozen fishbowl beer glasses without mentioning the Crescent (or princess beers as all of the girls there call them).

Only place I've been too recently that still does that is herby K's here in Shreveport, and I can see why. Hard to find a more inconvenient way to drink beer

Hymels in Convent. About 45 minute drive from BR.

When did Acme stop serving fishbowls?

I am such a Nancy - I had no idea what a fish bowl of beer was.
Never fear, I google Imaged it, so now I know. Reminds me of sitting in LenLew's just north of Mayhew Junction drinking Schlitz by the pitcher full when I was 18.
Oh to be a kid again.
At the moment I have 4 or 5 cold Miller light pony beers in the fridge and a frozen mug in the freezer, so I am set for the good life, I guess.

I went during the Christmas holidays and asked for fish bowl and was told they recently stopped serving them, when asked why the serve said people were complaining that they were too heavy

This. I also bought a couple of their glasses that weigh a ton. Rinse them in water and put in the freezer.
