Why Lowell Narcisse will not surpass Myles Brennan at QB

Just the title of an article i found from this dude in january.
andthevalleyshook.com SB Nation Link
it's pretty stupid to be honest with you and i think i'm starting to pack my bags to board the Narcisse bandwagon. I love the idea of Narcisse's arm strength and his real mobility as being an actual offensive game changer and difference maker. Defenses don't have to account for brennan running anywhere, the real threat of a 230lb beast that can take off or throw a 65 yard bomb in a split second matters on the field.
And the whole jist of the article is this:
geesh

Perhaps the biggest advantage Brennan currently holds is the fact he has real experience on the field for LSU. While light, Brennan saw action against BYU, Chattanooga, Syracuse, Troy, Alabama and Texas A&M this season. He completed 14 of 24 passes for 182 yards, with one touchdown and two interceptions.
It’s fair to say Brennan has a firmer handle on the offense at this point than Narcisse does because of this.
geesh

LOL that genius . We’re installing a new offense . Damn near every skill position is up for grabs on offense .

This why we can't have nice things on here.
Prob end up being a JLee vs JJ scenario on the board, just wait and see.
I wish at least they were both white or both black so at least we wouldn't have to dive into the race BS.
Wait and see, it's inevitable.

Narcisse seems like a player a team will gravitate and rally behind. Just my hunch from 70 miles down the road.

FU, douchebag
You totally missed the fricking point.

Lowell Narcisse is a problem

In this sorry arse politically correct environment we live in, you bet your arse EVERYTHING is about race. Fortunately, we have a guy in DC who is trying to change that.
He has a SERIOUS uphill battle with it though.

These mean nothing without accuracy.

My fear is that the coaching staff will be close minded about it and start Brennan simply due ro the limited experience he had last year.....most of it in mop up duty. How meaningful was Brennan's experience?
If Brennan is better and has better grasp of offense and doesn't lock in on one receiver....then great, start him. But don't start him just to because he has a small sample of experience.

I think Madea's fat arse could throw a bomb in a split second too, doesn't mean it will be anywhere near the reciever

My best guess is that Brennan will take the first snap against Miami but if the offense struggles, O will be quick to see what Narcisse can do.
It will be very simialr to how Bama handled Blake Barnett and Jalen Hurts against USC in 2016.

O will take the Les Miles approach: play the QB who will limit mistakes, even if it means he can’t “win a game with his arm“.
The aggressiveness that helped get him the job went out the window once he got a $3.5 mil/year contract to protect.

are you trying to claim that Brennan lacks arm talent?
Posted on 2/16/18 at 4:19 pm to Chad504boy
I really don't care who starts, considering we'll continue to run a pro style, (until I see some form of spread system I will not believe Ensminger or Ed O) but I thought Brennan would start anyway since he committed. Haven't seen much of Narcisse passing to make a informed opinion, but I do remember one of the major selling points on Brennan was his accuracy and that he has above average arm strength.
If we had gotten a spread coach then I would have hoped that Narcisse would get the start because his mobility would be dangerous with a legit threat to run in a power spread or something similar.

You must have looked over the point where citing Brennan has mobility and throwing downfield with accuracy always trumps mobility.

That article was so trash

Orgeron and Ensminger have continuously raved about Brennan's passing ability in the public sphere. They have even said he's getting first shot at first team.
Its an uphill battle for Narcisse, but I'm all for it if he earns it.
