For those who want O gone....

Would you rather have Joe Alleva have another run at hiring a head coach?
Trent Johnson (Brady was fired before Alleva came in but Alleva hired Trent)
Johnny Jones
Ed Orgeron
Nikki Fargas ( Is she comparable to Pokey {coaching only}/ Sue Gunter? )
Beth Torina ( after the Alabama coach was introduced as the head coach and then he left the next day)
Please note: Alleva is not going anywhere. Neither is F King Alexander.
As a bankrupt University, we can not afford to buy out F King's contract and so long as F King stays, Alleva stays.
So if you want O gone, Alleva will find another O to replace him and will give him a $75 million / 10 year guaranteed money contract to ensure, his new boy goes nowhere.
I rather keep O so long as he can finish 8-5, 7-6 and haul in a recruiting class in the late teens, that let Alleva take another shot at this.

One of those is not like the others...
Thankfully it worked out better than anyone expected and it was a blessing in disguise

If O goes 7-5 or worse this year he and Joe will both be gone.

Explain how you know this? People said Miles isn't going anywhere too. They said he'd be coach at LSU for as long as he cared to. How'd that work out?

Even if Allege makes the next hire there's a good chance (based on the last "search") it would be Agenda. I would much rather give Aranda a shot at HC than keep watching O downgrade the program in every aspect at every turn.
And before I have to hear some O supporter tell me I am all doom and gloom and over dramatic, just answer one question, honestly, what has O done significantly better than Miles thus far?

I'd rather go down swinging for the fences. But that's just me.

Aleva needs to be fired first.

Alleva is not going anywhere.
They're joined at the hip like Miles/Jefferson & Haslett/Brooks were............

Broke university is a on EDWARDS bullshite THEME!
Alexander’s sole job is the bring in MONEY TO THIS SCHOOL!!! He is failing so he needs to go.
Do you even know his contract or Aleevas?
They are costing the university more by having this failure of a coach than making money idiot!

This is probably one of the biggest beta cuck statements I’ve read since joining TD. Basically, “I’ll be ok with an average football program just cause I’m scared”. Congrats, You won the dumb post of the day award, and it’s only 7:10 AM

TAF aint bankrupt and can easily afford to buy out Alleva, King and Orgeron’s contracts and would get a surge in donationa for that purpose if it looked like the LSU board was willing to fire them.
Whats worse? Spending $10 mil to fire the people responsible for the decline of the football program or letting the program continue to decline and the athletic department having a big revenue decline when those 100k seats in Tiger Stadium are only 50-60% full and donations start drying up.

Now that that's out of the way...you're not wrong about worrying what would happen if Alleva and the current BOS were hiring the next coach. The may very well promote the head of equipment and tell us he was the best guy for the job.
But...we can't think this way. If we have to wait until everyone above him is gone, there will never be a "good" time. You force the move AND force a legitimate hire...both are possible.

Everybody with a brain knows it will be a package firing when it comes.

You greatly overestimate how much the BOS care about the football team’s record. The money aspect is the major issue. They aren’t paying another buyout, or 2 for Alleva. 7-5 with next year’s schedule wouldn’t get him fired

Yet you are one of the ones shitting on people who give up their season tix and stop their other financial support.
At least they’re doing their part to get rid of these millstones.
