For discussion sake, let's just say you have fiancée that you've been dating for a while and you've put all your trust in her. You are looking forward to settling down with her, buying a house and all the other stuff that comes along with married life. One day, somehow you find out that she cheated on a former bf of hers, someone that she told you about but she neglected to tell you the whole truth.

Would you break with her? What would you do?

I don't agree with it. People change, learn from mistakes, etc.

Given the right conditions, yes.

The only hard time is the first time.

ETA: on a bf/gf...not nearly as bad as doing it while married.

She didn’t cheat on you? Don’t be a pansy.

Then she can't be trusted and you should dump her.

Nah.

Call off the wedding and see how long I can keep hitting it before she leaves me over that little wedding thing.

Profit?

Sorry, but once a cheater always a cheater.

Sadly, I know several people (men and women) who have cheated and they just can't stop. They may go a while before straying, but all they need is an excuse.

I’ve said this many times, but it’s like a drug.

ETA

It's the rush. The taboo nature of it. It starts out small...there are the little things, the flirting, the "oh no, we shouldn't"...

Next thing you know you're in each other's arms and kissing and the chemistry is exploding. It's an incredible high. A damn drug.

Then the sneaking around, what a rush.

And sure it's Stupid

But it's exhilarating. And every time you swear it's the "last time"

That "we can't do this anymore".

But everything stemming from the dying relationship at home simply serves to reinforce the bad behaviour. To drive you to your lover's arms in a stolen embrace, in a secret place.
And my God is it hot.

Because it isn't real. It's a fantasy. And it only ends in tragedy but while you are on it the ride is incredible.

No.

My college girlfriend and I cheated on each other, it was a shitty relationship that we probably should’ve just bailed on a lot earlier . When I met my wife a few years later the idea of cheating on her would absolutely disgust me, as I actually loved and cared about her.

It just shows they have the ability to do so, doesn’t mean they will or won’t.

A Whores A Whore

Wait till you have kids and stuff and stop paying 100% of your attention to her.

Jody will be railing it
