Co-worker wont quit clearing his throat

I have a coworker that sits near me and i swear all this Mofo does is clear his throat every 30 seconds 
Thank god i work from home tommorrow. Is it normal for people to clear their throat every day every 30 seconds? This is why you work from home full time 
I mean its not like i can give him a cough drop or something. Any sugguestions other than asking the boss let me work from home full time?

My boss clears his throat constantly throughout the day. It's a small office, so we all work in the same room in cubicles. However, he only clears his throat when he is talking, so it is not that bad. I do cringe a little when he is talking directly to me and clears his throat in the middle of our conversation. I feel your pain and the only thing I can suggest is headphones and an anonymous note left on his desk with some cough drops.
