The problem is that a liberal federal judge will declare points 2-4 unconstitutional about five minutes after the deal gets done and then where will you be.
Point 4 is unconstitutional, but 2 and 3 are not.
They can’t vote right now anyway because you have to be a citizen to vote.

What if DACA join the military? That has been a traditional path to citizenship. Serving your country is the ultimate act of a citizen.
Also, what if a DACA marries a US citizen? If a foreigner outside the US can marry a US citizen and gain citizenship, seems like a DACA in the US would have to be granted the same ability.

I’ve always been a fan of enlistment for 4 years minimum + honorable discharge = citizenship.

Why compromise? When you control all 3 branches?
Do you think the left would compromise if in power?

quote:
1) Full amnesty for current DACAs
2) 10 year probationary period before they can apply for green card/citizenship
3) They cannot vote, or apply for federal or state assistance - until they are granted citizenship
4) Their kids are not automatic citizens
5) End to chain migration
6) Wall
add to 2. Not allowed to participate in any government program for 25 years.
add 7. Current State ID needed to vote
add 8. End funding for all programs that do not support US citizens directly
add 9. English is the official language of the US and the only language supported by the federal government and any program that receives federal funding.
add 10. citizen status is mandated to be reported and tracked for all crimes.

The moral and legal thing to do is deport all illegal aliens. DACA is no excuse. If my father robs a bank and puts the money in an account in my name, I don't get to keep it...and frankly, the crime of sneaking in to a country illegally is much more serious than a garden variety bank robbery.

Simple DACA solution -- deport every motherfricking one of them

No illegal should get citizenship EVER without leaving and coming back through proper channels. Only way to earn citizenship is 8 years active duty, and that is only for DACAs.

Yep. If Trump signs anything that allows them to vote or become citizens he’s done. Nobody that voted for him wants that
Why don't we wait for the results of his Voter Fraud Commission before making a decision on this?

NO AMNESTY. NONE. combine one and 2. After 10 years we won’t deport you unless you commit a crime, go on public assistance or join a gang. Then you either go back to the beginning or get deported. Now we know who you are.
Deal with ALL anchor baby citizenship by eliminating it for all babies born after the day the statute is enacted or some other standard based on the fixed date of birth. You can’t retroactively eliminate someone’s citizenship. We can follow up with an amendment clarifying this forevermore
Otherwise. Solid plan.
The only way to stop this shite going forward is to statutorily clarity that an anchor baby isn’t a citizen either.

DACA kids that help build the wall can stay. Merit based immigration, and basically Mexico will be building the wall....

Never have and never will. The left didn't even read the Obamacare bill and passed it anyway without consulting Republicans whatsoever.
I've never seen the left compromise when they control all 3 branches.

1) They all report register during 6 month grace period, providing job status, place of residence, family status and any and all government aide receiving. All are required to be employed within 3 month period adter registration or face deportation. None are allowed citizenship for 10 years but could apply for citizenship after 10 years of remaining employed and out of trouble

Unconstitutional.
No, it isn't. The clause in the 14th Amendment NEVER contemplated a situation where a child is born here, by mere happenstance of location when mother went to labor, with no connection to the land, its people, its history.
The Amendment was SOLELY to avoid a forced "Back to Africa" situation on the grounds they weren't citizens some kind of way. It is also reasonably extended to Native Americans on similar grounds.
It should NOT be extended to children of invaders - period.
