He belongs in the NFL

Been saying it for years

He's the equivalent of someone playing a video game on easy and giving all his players 99 ratings. Its barely a challenge for him.

I think Belichick is a notch above, considering free agency and what not, but yeah, Saban is 1B.

The level of recruiting is just so far ahead of everyone.

He lost 7 linebackers this year and the two in the middle tonight were a 5 star senior and 5 star sophomore. With Deshawn Hand at DE a senior who was the no. 1 recruit in the nation. DT 5 star and Isaiah Biggs no.1 juco player in the nation.
He's DONE THAT FOR 7 STARIGHT YEARS!!
Hand and Evans are 1st year starters as Seniors and they were both 5 star recruits.

No one has ever had that much success without getting investigated. I'm confused how Reggie Bush himself hasn't investigated Bama.

He is legitimately a miracle play in 2013 and a last minute Clemson drive in 2016 away from seven national titles and five of the last six national titles.

This level of dominance is unspeakably ridiculous.

Anyone want to put bets on when this dude retires? Tomorrow would be nice.

If I were him, I'd retire after UA title #6, I know his run at UA was WAYYYYY more efficient than Bear's was there and accomplished with less scholarships permitted for players so his GOAT argument's pretty damn strong already but surpassing Bear Bryant at the school in UA natty amount would be a mountaintop, watershed peak experience for him from which the only thing he should do subsequently is retire while on top in that regard.

He's clearly the greatest CFB coach of all time, but it's still amazing to think the luck that he needed to even get the chance to compete for most of his NCs.

As mentioned, he didn't even win the division in 2/6 of his NCs.

His LSU team in 2003 needed about a hundred things to happen to sneak ahead of USC into the BCSNC.

In 2012, OSU finished 12-0 and would have faced a Nebraska team that Wisconsin just annihilated in the B1G CG, but were ineligible.

This is outside of anything his teams have done on the field, because "great teams create their own luck." These were all things outside of his control (well, besides not winning the division).

I'm not hateful or jealous enough to not be able to step back and appreciate that I'm seeing something that may never happen again. 50 or even 100 years from now people are going to be saying "I wonder what it was like to see that", same with the Pats. We're witnessing history.

You could also spin that the other way and say they are a blocked FG, a fluke Oklahoma State loss, a tipped ball, a 4th and 25, and a Wisconsin win away from having none.

He's the best coach in CFB history.

But some would and have said that 2003, 2011 and 2017 are all fortunate.

03, USC coulda played Okie. Or LSU and LSU lost.

11 and 17 didn't even win their own division, much less conference.

Yes, greatest ever. Also very fortunate.

he is the GOAT.

And I'm not even a Bama fan, but some of the butthurt LSU fans on here is some of the saddest shite I've ever read.

I don’t mind Saban’s greatness so much as I mind where the frick he’s doing it.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how he hasn’t had a heart attack yet. Dude looks like he’s going to shite himself before every big game. He wants to win so bad and he does. Whatever he does in that locker room works. Bama comes out swinging and always pulls it off. It baffles me. It’s amazing and frustrating at the same time. Tired of hearing about Bama, tired of their fans BUT this coach is unstoppable. When he does get beat, it’s a fluke, it’s not because the other team is better. And where did this Freshman QB come from? Saves the game without ever playing in a huge college game. Saban’s tricks and secrets are out of this world. I don’t know how he does it but he does.

Saban has mastered recruiting and hiring assistants the way Belichik has mastered nfl salary caps, free agency and draft.

Hats off to the man. Just sucks that he could've done everything he did at Bama here if he'd have stayed. Plus at least one more.

I'm jealous of Bama and I'm not afraid to say it, especially since we have Special Ed, Alleva, and F King running the pathetic shite show that is called LSU football.

He's also an OSU bowl ban, an Okie State screw job and an Ole Miss 4th and 25 screw up from having 3 less titles in that time, excluding 2017 where people had their own debates (I was 50/50)

It's absurd what he is doing to even be in position to keep doing it annually. There are two sides to every story and you should factually present them as so
