Thank you for your insight. I upvote you not because I like or dislike the info but because I know you bring the information you have forward and share it with us.
I agree with you that the direction of the program is paralleling the Stovall or even Hallman eras. It is really sad to see but with the leadership we have, from coaching to admin, it was only a matter of time. Great results begin with great leadership which gets results from the top down.
This OC hire is more important than just calling plays. I believe this will ultimately answer a lot of questions about who currently is calling the shots and pulling the real strings behind the curtain. If it's Ensminger, program will begin its decline or in the best case remain static. If its someone like Gilbert or Yurich, which seems unlikely now giving your info plus your record of accuracy, then we at least know the powers that be are aware of the climate and what it will take to advance as a program.
Either way, thank you tigerbaitlawyer and

Yeah but we don’t get to make the decision so if that’s what they do the best I can offer is cautious optimism.

As soon as the ink dries on that SE's contract, the last nail in Ed's LSU coaching career will be nailed into the coffin.
Good news is we can promote DA and get this program heading in the right direction.

you need someone who can come up with a great gameplan and scheme in your biggest games.
I just don't have any confidence that Ensminger fits that bill at all

If they hire Ensminger the entire athletic dept needs to be cleaned out. Empty that fricking building.
I don’t want it by anymeans but this isn’t the trigger point. It should have happened before. Ensminger is a better OC than O a HC. Alleva is a cancer.

But we were told it can’t be Ensminger
We were told we are just weak melting snowflakes

I’m in the minority willing to approach SE with cautious optimism
I mean that's fine. Just admit that it's based on hope and a prayer vs facts and evidence.

irrelevant versus all time down sec teams.. those teams are improving coaching and the actual two decent defenses we faced we scored 10 total points right? And that was with an insanely loaded team!
LOL
It’s not good
Freaking zero points versus Alabama at home
Zero

Completely in dark. He was told Tee Martin last week. Obviously that’s wrong.

There is a real divide at this moment as you can tell. Heads will roll next season if the team does not improve or tanks because of a bad offense.
Then sign me up for team Ensminger

I love LSU and I can honestly say this whole season from a football management perspective (from ops to Ad) is the most chaotic sense the 90s. Most are likely to young
This is what I feared from the start, we hired a guy to be a CEO that has no idea how to be a CEO.

This all Boils down to one single decision. Orgeron. The rest of this is just fallout.

Continue to be vocal. i would voice anger at AD and Bos because they are more influenced by populace.
