Yea, I shouldn't have said every time because obviously that isn't correct. But dang, the stories seem to be coming out daily about incidents like this. I can't imagine why they'd risk the jobs/lives/marriages for sex with a teenager. It just doesn't make sense to me.

We had a teacher at school that a few of my buddies banged. Only a few of us ever knew, nobody said anything about it and it went on until they graduated. She wasn't married and was only about 22-23.

Like I've said before, it blows my mind that in the middle of this societal moral panic we're in, these teacher banging kids stories never gain any traction as a national movement. If the sexes were reversed, there would be an attempt to have all males banned from teaching for the safety of the students.

Damn, that is a very weird juxtaposition.
It would be pandemonium if there were a spate of male teachers preying on underage girls. Since it's underage males with female proctors, society shrugs and/or laughs.

There are anywhere from dozens to hundreds of teachers committing statutory rape every year and no one says shite, yet Matt Lauer gets axed because he's trying to hit on women and that's being decried as "a man abusing his power" (but that same standard isn't applied to these whores).
