My brother-in-law manages a country club that is able to get a bottle or two each year from a wholesaler. They keep them locked up behind the bar. If you want a shot it costs $25 a drink. Insane but some of the high rollers at the club will pay that.

$25/oz? That's pretty standard. If it's $25/drink, that's a really good price.

I see lots of recommendations for Weller 12. Is it available on the BR area? My hunts for this have turned up empty.

Not really, you can find it a Calandros sometimes, but usually they are out.

Not currently available, it is released a couple of times a year and many times it never hits the shelves. Demand is insane on so much of Buffalo Trace's bottles

Weller 12 was under 25 bucks just a couple years ago. Then they saw everyone was getting educated on mash bills and blends...
So the distiller started limiting output, changed the bottle design and created a false demand. Now it is 45-55 bucks retail and hard to find.

For me: 4 roses single is the best all around value out there.

I also love He yearly offerings from pinhook. If you can get that under 80, you'll be a happy person or making another person ver happy.

In South Louisiana? Color me skeptical. The only full cases of that I've seen in Louisiana have been in the hands of flipper(s) in NO
