First point I made myself.

I’m confused by the second point as the tracking ship was not present at the first battle, and again, they had no other capital ships there.

I’m not defending the narrative mess of TLJ.

But that element isn’t the universe breaking plot hole people are trying to make it out to be. It is NOT a viable offensive weapon. It’s a last ditch suicide approach only useful in certain situations. This is the first applicable on film occurance.
