JT was a great neighborhood to grow up in. I was there from birth (1979) till I got hitched in 1999. Spent a lot of time at the park, the swimming pool in the summers, rode bikes. Had a big backyard. Went to the school from K-3. I remember Ramers; they had good chili dogs. I also remember that old-school barbershop next door to Ramers. My folks moved out of the neighborhood a couple of years ago.

My grandparents lived on cherrywood and I spent my summers in JT in the 90’s. Love that neighborhood.

Lived on sharlane and the grandparents were on bluebonnet back when it was just 2 lanes. Ramers was the bomb and that barber shop had 1cent bubble gum! Mr vick was the old man that cut hair. Good times early 80’s before we moved out to southeast BR area
