I disagree, but we'll never know. Brooks just didn't have name recognition outside of north Alabama. He barely even won his district, IIRC, and got pummeled in Bham, Mobile, and Montgomery.
Hell even strange would have beat Roy Moore if not for his campaign against Brooks. But it was so fricking nasty and dishonest that Brooks refused to support him
If he would have had Brooks support that probably would have put him over the top
But I suspect a lot of people are like me. I voted for Brooks in round 1 and sat on my hands in round 2

Alabama has no statute of limitations re: sexual assault on a person under the age of 16.

He does admit to watching his wife dance when she was 14 or 15 and remembering her. He was only double her age
That's creepy.
Being creepy doesn't make him a serial child molester. It's also not a disqualifier for the US Senate, otherwise 80% of them would have to resign.

No Roy Moore is the product of fed up voters who are tired of the Republican establishment and damn sure won't vote for a Democrat regardless of what allegations are leveled.

Nope, Roy Moore is win-win for the Dems. Either they get a Senate seat, or the Republicans are saddled with yet another embarrassment. The Senate's efforts to expel him will play great with voters.
You people really have no shame.
It is sometimes hard to understand how liberals have this false impression that they are intellectually superior to conservatives and do blatantly stupid things.
The worm turned on Moore when Franken and Conyers were caught up in this and the Dems decided to defend them. In doing so, they lost the high ground and their histrionics regarding Moore instantly became hollow.
This isn’t rocket science.
Pretending to be unable to figure this out makes you a dumbass or disingenuous

It’s fricking Alabama. Can’t wait to see Mississippi’s response to the challenge.

Moore will be Senator for life.
Do you think Moore's fortunes will rise or fall with President Trump's fortunes? Seems like Moore's winning the Republican primary had a lot to do with Strange appearing to align himself with the GOPe, and Bannon throwing his support behind Moore; almost as if McConnell and Bannon were fighting a proxy war with Strange and Moore.
I think Moore is going have to stay closely hitched to Trump. If Moore can keep from making a fool of himself, and no further allegations emerge, and if Trump can do the same, I think the 2020 Republican Senate race finds us right back where we were this year...a GOPe candidate against a pro-MAGA Moore.
Of course, it's all predicated on Moore beating Jones.

With fear mongering like this, Moore won't be going anywhere....

The church where the Roy Moore campaign event tonight is will only allow the camera to shoot a close, head-on shot of the candidate because the pastor fears a possible Al-Qaeda attack, he told CNN.
