People who have been in the mix don't discuss it easily. You can get a copy of his service record through the freedom of information act. I would do that personally

is the same person that you are referring to now?

No, that’s actually a guy I used to work with a few years ago. I actually mentioned that guy earlier in this thread. They’re different guys but strikingly similar.

Nah. Lol

But since he was cid I wasn't expecting much to begin with

I was just wondering the basics of putting the cid guys as recruits in basic training. Must be a hell of a lot of paperwork

Ask him the names of bases or camps that he was in during whatever war he says he fought.
Ask him about what unit he was in.
Make sure those first two line up.
Ask him what type of rifle he had, nomenclature of different things.
Ask him silly questions like what rank come after another.
Ask him what unit citations his unit received and did what battles and dates.

Ask him who confirms the kills.

Ask him questions like whAts the maximum effective range of whatever rifle he says he carried.

Start there.

Things are good. Went down to Biloxi today to pay respects to gramps and great uncles and my brother.

Wish state would’ve beat little Nicky!!
