You are correct, but no one has ever been convicted based on non-oathbound claims made in a newspaper. It looks like Moore may file suit against WaPo, so we will see what kind of discovery goes on.

Those are entirely different situations. One is a legal matter, the other is justification for military action. Unfortunately, the burden of proof is not exactly high on our government to conduct an operation.
