Failure? I wonder if the family and friends of those killed and injured think it was a failure? If I were a member of the other side I would be sitting back and laughing my arse off at the response from our so called leaders and politicians in this country. Fighting amongst ourselves while the next POS that uses religion as an excuse is planning the same exact style of attack.
