I gave up my saints season tickets because these kids behind me kick my seat. After three years I gave up.

That's why I started paying for the seatbacks on my tickets... helped alleviate the encroaching fatties..

Sports teams, concert venues, and airlines all too afraid of possibly getting bad PR by requiring obese people to buy 2 tickets if their fat asses are too big to fit in a single seat. I think the majority of people would be in favor of that type of policy because normal people generally wouldn't appreciate spending their hard earned money for a seat that they're being squeezed out of because someone else is so fat they take up their seat and half of the seat next to them.

Had chubby accepted a move, like a seat in handicapped area(usually have folding chairs in these sections), then oK.
The fact that he did not give a frick shows why he is that size. frick him.

For $700 (x2), I would have embarrassed him. Hell, for $7, I'll embarrass his fat arse.
If he's embarrassed, he'll probably leave, now you have 2 seats plus space where he was.

Handicapped areas are for HANDICAPPED people, not FAT people. Being fat isn't a handicap unless you can't help it. Also, I bet the handicapped seats are more expensive.

That brings up another point.....I wonder why stadium officials couldn't usher the couple to club level or a restaurant and set them up for their inconvenience?

They should have made big boy move. My season tickets in Tiger Stadium are on the top row in 412 close to the isle. People are constantly sitting my seats. I always make them move. Its simple, show them your ticket ans tell them that these are your seats.

I see this problem every time I fly commercial.
Most recently I was on a Southwest domestic flight and had the distinct displeasure of being crushed against the outer bulkhead as not one, but two grossly obese fat POSs jammed themselves into the two seats beside me.
No exaggeration that either of these women were well over 400 lbs each.
I have no doubt that had I complained, I would have been vilified for my insensitivity.
Both of these hippos spent the entire flight gorging themselves on potato chips and other sweets washed down with copious amounts of sugary soft drinks.
Plane tickets should be priced according to weight and hip gates should be installed requiring oversize travelers to purchase two seats and remove or retract the dividing armrest!
Skinny people should have rights too!!
