It depends how you look down the stretch

They will roll with a 2 loss Sec Champ who beat both undefeated SEC teams regardless of early season struggles

It’s easy to say no bc of early losses to crap teams but that would be some serious improvement

It would be unreal to do so and would make for fun conversations

Any ways I’ll just be glad to beat Ole Miss this week

Like others have stated, just look at PSU and OSU last year. PSU won head to head and only had 1 bad loss on the season, won the B1G championship and still got passed over by OSU. No doubt at all that Bama gets the nod over a 2 loss LSU SEC Champ - and to be honest Bama would deserve the playoff more than LSU in that scenario, you cant get trounced by a 5-6 win MSU and lose at HOME to a Troy and be considered for the NC. At least not in my humble opinion.

Really to me the bigger question would be does the committee take a 1 loss Bama over a 1 loss UGA? UGA would win the East and at least play in the SECC game and have lost to the same LSU team but at a supposedly "neutral site" and Bama would have been beaten by LSU at home so although Bama would likely get the nod over UGA just because, well their Bama they really shouldnt. In that scenario I think UGA would be the more deserving team JMO
