Are 2:30PM Games A Better Starting Time Than A Night Time Start?

I know Saturday Night in Tiger Stadium is a tradition, but it seems like people are more likely to leave earlier during a night game. If it is a 7PM starting time, after spending all day drinking, by half-time people start getting tired and they don't want to think about having to sit in traffic for 2 hours after the game so they leave early, etc.
But at 2:30PM kickoffs, like yesterday, I noticed there wasn't a mass exit. In the first quarter I started thinking "damn, people are going to probably start leaving earlier than usual", but luckily it was 23-14 at halftime. But with that said, I think with a 2:30PM game, people are not sloppy drunk going into the game and there is something about when night time comes in the 4th quarter and you hear "Ladies and Gentlemen, the sun has found it's home in the western sky and it is now Saturday Night in Tiger Stadium". It brings some energy at a key point of the game instead of right before the game starts, when there is a 7:00PM kickoff.
And people are not as worried about sitting in traffic when a game ends at 6:30PM than when it ends at 10:30PM. Is it just me, or does anyone else like the 2:30PM starts?

Why the hell do you have to write so damn much in your posts?
No one is reading this shite

No, it's freaking too damn hot. It's almost 100 degrees (even though it's mother fricking October), people will die if they do that too often. I stayed the whole game but many of my friends were on the verge of being sick.

I regret that I have but one down vote to give to this horrible suggestion.
You should promptly go to Sonic and kick your own arse!

I like 230 kicks.
Tailgating in the shade with a W in the bag enjoying the PM games is the best

Day games are a lot easier on you if you travel a few hours to and from the game. Night games give you a lot more time to tailgate and enjoy the day...and they are not so damn hot.

Tired narrative
Nothing wrong with 230 game. You pussies care more about tailgating than the football game itself anyway

With the weather we had for Chattanooga, yes. Most years until November, no. Its not necessarily the heat, its the humidity.

I love it. My favorite time, then 6, then 11 then 7:39

The TV time slots are mostly 11:00, 2:30, and 6:00 central time. I would like the home games set for 6 since they are moved to there or to 2;30 often.

One tradition that will never change- we are night owls! If it is a great game, people will stay anyway...

I like 2:30 starts in November when it starts to get cold. Anything before 6:00 before mid-October is a bad idea.

Never.
LSU home games should always kickoff AFTER 7pm.
I wish there was some way we could refuse to allow these networks to move the kickoff time before 7.

1. Night games are always better in Sept and Oct in BR.
2. There was no mass exodus mainly because it was our biggest home game, we were big underdogs, and we seemed to be coming back by the end of the Half. You could feel the tide turning late in the 2ndQ and even on defense in the 3rdQ.
LSU showed that we can compete with a good team in 2017.

I'm starting to like 2:30 games more and yeah people don't race to the exits in the second half like they do for night games. It's pretty much gotten to where enough people leave late games in the second half regardless of what the score is

Not when it is 90+ degrees outside. The weather has actually been very pleasant all year for games, but yesterday the stadium felt like an oven.
I don't really care for 2:30 games because it limits family time in the morning if I want to be able to make it out to the stadium early enough to drink something and see a couple of buddies.
