I think it was drugs. But with all this Harvey stuff coming out, it makes me think they were molested and that drove them to heavy drug use.
It's weird that they both look so creepy and so still stayed so similar to each other. One of them was in Weeds and looked ok then. Also creepy that they date those old strange men. Can't imagine a 30 year old woman being attracted to that old ballsack.

Hate to say it, but they were probably molested as children. Just a hunch based on what i know about psychology
