Nebraska was always overrated until their 3-5 year run in the 90s.

They would always be ranked in the top 5 going into the bowls and then lose in the Orange Bowl.

Osborne was like 2-8 in the 80s in bowl games...then he went full Sosa/Big Mac to compete and get over the hump. They scheduled trash and would then lose to quality opponents in other conferences.

Nebraska has always had a problem with speed and getting the better athletes.

He was 3-0 vs LSU in bowl games in the 80's.

Two Sugars and one Orange Bowl.

Stop pretending to know college football. Nebraska has been a power since they were in the Missouri Valley Conference and Big 6 going back to the beginning of the 20th century

They should have never left the big 12 and all their Texas recruiting ties
