People said the same thing about a buyout wouldn’t allow canning Miles last year and we still did. I think if it gets bad enough, a move will be made despite the hefty dual-buyouts
1000% hope you're right but there is a limit and i'm pretty sure buying les out, dropping $12 million on the most inexplicable and terrible decision i've ever seen in college athletics, and another 8 million for a new coach and staff. It's got to be tough to swing the cash flow for that.

i agree but who's going to write the check?
It's not a lump sum payment, as long as they can justify the loss per year will be a substantial amount more than the buyout per year payments they can do it.
Example : You have $5000 of debt due to the IRS, They give you the option to either pay $150 a month to pay it off in 3 years or you have to take a 10% garnishment to your pay, which comes out to $500 a month.

2018 season will be his hot seat unless CLM get a head coaching gig that offsets his buyout

He lost to Troy. He's already on the hot seat

Before you spend that, you sure as frick make sure to spend $1 on a bullet for Alleva.

We will go 1 and 7 in SEC play this year but he won't be fired until he loses the first 4 games of next season. Two of those games are to other Louisiana teams btw.

He is on the hot seat. The performance looked like a Team he had lost. That is something you can’t afford in a program.
If he doesn’t turn it around with either wins or a better product. LSU will be looking for an AD and a Head Coach in December .

We just lost to Troy. How bad do you wanna get?

I think we have to wait until he shows cause. Maybe they try to get him on something shady.

No group of boosters is forking over 12 million dollars with alleva still there making the decision

LSU athletics stand to lose much more than $12m this year if they play like this the rest of the year.
People are to stupid to realize this.

Alleva will be the first to go. Once Alleva has been fired then O knows that he is on deck.

When we start competing with ULL, Southern Miss and Tulane again for recruits.

Exactly, people keep saying the 12 million number like it doesn't work the other way also

You have to fire Alleva 1st.....they would be pissing in the wind if they didn’t....I know after the last few hires this dude has made I wouldn’t put much confidence in him...again
