Should have been the Republican nominee. If Republicans had a lick of sense, he would have been. People want drama though. They don't want a candidate who gives long and drawn out answers that are factually correct. They don't want a candidate that actually believes in the Constitution, as long as a candidate pays lip service to it and throws them some red meat.

Then why didn't Trump (or any of the trumpkins) say this during the campaign? You're moving the goal posts so Trump can score. Bottom line is that Trump can't deliver on what he promised.

Yet to be seen. Patience Danielson. This isn't like Obama and his failed promises. Trump isn't done here.

Ok, but he is a very long way from delivering on a complete repeal of obamacare and replacing it with the best healthcare legislation ever, where "everyone" is covered.

wah. He hasn't completely fixed the mess we created in his first 9 months. Wah.
You proggies are something else.

So are you still believing that he can deliver on a complete repeal and replacing it with "the best" healthcare legislation, where everyone is covered? I think it would be great if he can but I have been on record since before the primaries were over that he can not achieve that.

Wish it were that way. Trump has already called out the ones holding up progress.
Yeah but Trump hasn't taken a firm position on what kind of healthcare bill he wants. He's pressured Republicans into passing something, but he hasn't taken the lead on what exactly that something should be. He's playing the healthcare game in a paradoxical way. Basically:
"Republicans are clowns. Just fix it!"
"What should we pass?"
"Uhhhh"

Readers will recall ole IB said long ago Trump would sign whatever health bill that gets to his desk and will declare it that "best ever". Trumpkins will love it.
Same for the tax bill BTW.

Rand wants to start by passing legislation to allow insurance to be sold across state lines. This probably has 90% approval in the country.
There is no law preventing insurance being sold across state lines.
Who do low information trumpkins cling to this?

Trump was threatening people during the very first house bill.
Trump wants something, anything. Fix it later, maybe.

I've never lied on this issue. That you don't live in the real world is your problem, not mine, champ.

Again, that you live in a fantasy world where up is down does not mean that my telling you up is up is a lie. It never did, it never will.
Come back to reality, and you'll live a much more fulfilled life.

Well, when the party you represent has promised for 7-8 years that they will r&r Obocare then it's a good bet to believe Trump.
If I told you "to go for something, I got your back" but then when you get there I don't keep my word, whose fault is that exactly?

but Trump just wants to get something done.
Which is a horrible strategy for the GOP. All thats going to happen is the GOP is going to let the democrats off the hook for arguably the worst domestic legislation in history. If this goes through, thr democrats will be blaming the GOP for this abortion for twenty years.

I don't think you understand the issue.
The problem is that you can't sell across state lines unless you are filed and approved in the state that owns that line on the other side approves you as an insurer and then approves the plans, policies, marketing materials, rates and distribution channel.
It's a complicated issue to be a "national insurer". The compliance staff at each insurance company is massive due to the regulations of each different state.
So, sure you have the ability legally to apply to sell across state lines but you have to comply with each state's laws.
