Memories from your trip to Syracuse in 2015

Spent a few days in NYC prior to driving up to Syracuse. Went to Yankee stadium and hit a bunch of the NYC attractions.
Randomly stayed at the team hotel and watched them arrive. Had dinner at Dino BBQ on Friday night in Syracuse. Lots of other Tiger fans there as well.
Met up with some random Orange fans and tailgated with them in the quad. Their tailgate name was "Quad Squad". Really nice people. Shared their Labatt Blue pilsners with us. They couldn't believe LSU brought so many fans up there. Went to the game and sweated out the W, as usual. Hit up the Orange Crate Brewing Company after the game. Me and my bro were the only LSU fans in there and were treated like celebs. Great group of fans in Syracuse.
Sunday, we stopped at the Baseball HOF in Cooperstown before heading back to NYC.
Great trip all around. Hopefully, the Orange fans have as great of a trip this weekend!

Man what a great game. I really thought that was going to be a 2011 type of year

Hopefully none of them get hit with a baseball bat in New Orleans.

I flew home to nj to see my family. We drove up to the finger lakes on friday and hit a bunch of breweries. Went to a concert in geneva friday night. Woke up early Saturday and drove an hour to syracuse. Parked under an overpass and drank beers with my dad and friends. Drove back to nj after the game. Went to the yankees game on Sunday before flying back to br. Great trip.

My Dad and I flew up Thursday into Newark. We stayed at Hilton Penn Station on New Jersey side. We went to the Thursday night Giants Redskin game in MetLife. We walked across street from hotel to train station and took a train that dropped us off less than 200 yards from MetLife. The next morning we did the Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty tour. My dad was 75 at the time and we climbed all 354 steps to the crown of the Statue of Liberty. He was a trooper. That evening we drove to about 45 minutes outside of Syracuse. The next morning we tailgated and the game. It was unseasonably hot up in Syracuse. The only negative of the whole trip was the Carrier dome has no A/C so it was hot inside at game time. It's ironic because the sponsor is Carrier an A/C manufacturing company LOL. After the game we drove to Buffalo. That evening we ate at Anchor Bar where Buffalo wings was founded in 1964. Sunday we went to Niagara Falls and spent the day. We flew back from Buffalo on Monday. Syracuse fans were great and the trip was memorable. It was great making memories with my Dad.

That was the worst.

Right there with you. You'll be able to tell those type of stories for the rest of your life.

Interesting. Finger Lakes are known for wine and wineries, didn't know they even had breweries. Glad you enjoyed your trip to upstate NY.

Flew into Buffalo on Friday midday, drove up to Toronto and caught the Blue Jays and Rays game Friday night. Drove back and spent the night at Niagara Falls. Headed into Syracuse the next morning, watched the game and it was warm but not unbearable. Stayed the night in upstate, somewhere. Drove into Cooperstown on Sunday and saw everything there. Flew out on Monday.
Great trip all around!

Named after the owner of an AC company, the hot arse sticky Carrier Dome.

* NYC for a couple of days before - the usual tourist things, but first time to 911 museum. Impressive and impacting.
* Drove to Syracuse. Not an impressive campus or town. Nice people. How can Carrier put their name on a building with no A/C? It got hot in there. Stadium was one-third Tigers.
*Drove to Niagara Falls. Better than I remembered it. Cruise in boat to bottom of falls is a must. Was pissed that Canadian stations at Marriott didn't pick up NFL football.
Overall, probably a Top Ten trip. #1 for me is still 2011 at Tennessee. Green Bay was great until the ball was kicked off.

I felt that way for 2016. Went to Lambeau with two of my friends, and you know how the rest of the season went after that trip.
