So Miles never got whipped by Mississippi State? At home nonetheless?

Who is responsible for the offensive line and the current roster situation? Les Miles. Let's not pretend that if Les Miles was the coach this game looks much different.

OP is right. Orgeron is going to have more than a year to demonstrate his capability to successfully steer the program. That loss was horrific but it's not enough to make final judgment on Orgeron's suitability to run the team.

What roster situation are you referring to specifically?

LSU just lost to MSU by 30 points while ranked. It's the largest margain of victory for MSU in the history of the series, which dates back to 1896...

109 total games...Ed Oregon now holds the record for worst loss.

So no...Miles never did that.

True...that could have been understood by his inability to run the previous SEC program he was given. Instead, LSU decided to roll the dice with a local boy who promised he learned his lessons well enough to take over the big boy chair. Sure...no other Power 5 conference program was asking he to be their HC, but dammit...it was his dream job, so why not?

at this point, all we can do is wait and see...but I'm not sure why we all need to pretend that IF he succeeds it won't be truly astounding given everything we know about his resume.
