Leaving Wells Fargo banking--where to go?

I live in TN, and we have some good local options. But I travel domestically often for work, and also use the ATM often.
I've googled around, but curious what the MT board believes to be the most ethical and economical (fees) option would be?
Side question- should I consider one of the online only options like Ally or Bank5? Pros/cons?
TIA

I know Chase offers cash rewards for opening an account with them
They also have the best banking app around, if that kinda thing is important to ya
It might not be the most ethical option tho

I currently have a credit card with Chase, have they had a scandal of some sort?

USAA has free ATM access anywhere.
I'd personally keep at least one checking account at a local bank for easy cash deposits and withdrawals.

Capital One 360 is an online banking platform. Slightly higher interest rates than "normal" banks and access to lots of ATMs.

I am a satisfied Schwab customer as well and do this all the time.

Consensus seems to be Schwab and USAA thus far
I never even considered USAA until today

Get some where local at least as a secondary. Schwab is great and so is usaa, I have both.
You gotta get someone local for larger sums of cash to deposit. I've sold stuff for like $1500 and it was a pita with just USAA and schwab (no local branch).

Wells Fargo is the most scandal ridden of all the large banks, maybe with the exception of BOA.

I'm aware, hence the thread...
I was referring to Chase.

Another happy Schwab customer. I switched when BoA sold my account to a small local bank. I keep a small amount in the local account which is linked for electronic transfers to my Schwab account.
Schwab offers mobile app check deposit, refunds all ATM fees, no foreign transaction fees for withdrawals out of the country, and no fee banking if maintaining a certain balance (I'm not sure what that $$ currently is.)
