- Raw 167
- The Grocery
- Tavern and Table (in Mt Pleasant)
- Husk
- Poogan's Porch
I also thought SNOB was over-rated.

Got a tip from a local when I was down there a few weeks ago to try a place called Five loaves and was not disappointed. Small, little, hole in the wall place with really good sandwiches. They have healthy options and soups as well. I had Ham and Brie and a Chicken Pesto Sandwich and would highly recommend both.

A lot of echoes, but
The Ordinary (would absolutely be on my list - just sit at the bar, order a few pink gins and some raw stuff)
Leon's
Husk
Fig
Home Team BBQ (great wings and get a Gamechanger)
Rodney Scott's
Proof on Main for cocktails
If there on a Saturday, great farmer's market with lots of snackey things

Charleston is a fantastic small city and with an incredibly vibrant food scene. I've been there about a half-dozen times over the past 2-3 years on business.
So most of the time I'm 'tagging along' or I just ask and go where the local workers recommend. I don't keep track of all the places but we did go to Edmund's Oast last January.
Every place we've been has been good. But nothing great. The only memorable thing was the corn bread from Edmund's Oast.
Let me just summarize my experience like this: If you've ever eaten in/around NOLA, and you go to Charleston expecting it to be on that level, prepare to be disappointed.
