So it Looks Like My House Might Flood Again

Water is already halfway up the drive, neighbor's house is about 30 minutes from being inundated. The fricking city never cleaned out the drains after the last flood, and now everything is backing up.

It's OK. Mitch is going to get to the bottom of it. Now. He is going to get there. I mean he's been saying that for 7 years now and in fact drainage cleanout was one of his campaign promises, but he's gout it now. Oh yeah. He's got action plans and shite. Has any of this helped yet? He seems to think words will make all these problems go away with no actions.
Try going outside and telling the flood waters that Mitch Landrieu is on the case. Maybe they'll recede.
