Excellent points but DC's police is powered by and surrounded with partisan democrats; including DWS's brother Steven. There will never be any real investigation until an IG and or SC takes the case.

So now the DC police are involved in this "vast" conspiracy.

OK, but an AUSA would have NO power officially over a murder. The local police would have the lead over a murder. Murder is not in the Federal statute, it's a local crime with jurisdiction by the local authorities which in this case would be the DC police.

Do we know that a laptop was seized by the authorities? This point has been bandied about, but do we know that this is the case? Is there a record of the seizure and it being admitted into the evidence room? If not, it's all conjecture.

I would like to know more about the manner of the murder? Was there a struggle? Usually POS muggers like to knock you upside of the head and take things from you, they typically don't want a murder on their sheet. If Rich was shot, where was he shot and how many times? How long was the body lying around before it was found? Did anyone hear anything in the neighborhood....someone ALWAYS hears something in an urban area?

Look, if it were a double tap to the back of the head then you could reasonably make the case for a professional job, but if it is just a single shot to the abdomen that splits the liver, you could make the case for a robbery gone bad.

And notice how the story never said that Trumo had anything to do with it.

Can you read?

Talk about fake news.

The next day, Zimmerman sends Wheeler a draft of her story, which is to run initially on the network's website. It includes no quotes from Wheeler.

The night before the story ran and the day of the story itself, Butowsky coached Wheeler on what to say on the air."
On the evening of May 14, Butowsky leaves a voicemail for Wheeler raising the stakes by invoking the White House and saying, "Let's close this deal."

A bit later that night, at 9:10 p.m., Butowsky texts Wheeler, according to Wheeler's suit: "Not to add any more pressure but the president just read the article. He wants the article out immediately. It's now all up to you. But don't feel the pressure."

I mean did anyone really not already think Fox News was an unofficial arm of Republican administrations? That they run their channel more like a campaign then a news network? That by and large, with a few exceptions, that they lack any journalistic integrity or respect properly informing their viewers? That to downplay this they scream that everyone else is Fake News?

.....Oh wait, this is the PT board

It's only people the consume Fox News and probably spend little to no time whatsoever reading actual journalism that think there is some sort of equivalency between places like the NyTimes, WaPo, PBS, WSJ, BBC America, Reuters, and Fox News. But nice deflectionary whataboutism.

But that is exactly why Fox News will weather this. Half this board will just turn into Hannity to see how they should think about this issue. Wait for Trump's next tweet to find the way they should engage in the cognitive dissonance process for this story.

Fox news is a bogeyman. I, for one, get sick and tired when I can't even BEGIN DEBATING a liberal before they attempt to discredit my position because they think I got it from fox news .

Fox gets like 14 million viewers a night. Thee are 100+ million conservatives in America.

So why assume that I watch it?

Why is it fair to not take my position seriously because you think I got it from fox when I didn't?

Most people watch fox for the same reason they watch msnbc: tells em what they want to hear.

I remember when this went down. Wheeler went on TV and was playing right along with the story and doing so voluntarily. Wheeler even received a cease and desist letter from Rich's family.

For him now to sue is laughable when he was just as involved in the conspiracy theory as anyone.

We have had this conversation before, this is what conservatives trust:

Which basically comes down to taking heads, Fox News, and online sites that actively push an ideology.

You wanted to know why there is no true conservative equivalent to the WaPo and NyTimes on the right? Because people like you run around making excuses for places like Fox News instead of demanding greater accountability and standards. Even that shite heap of CNN fired a number of journalists for fricking up a story. Fox News issued a brief paragraph retraction and is now embattled in a lawsuit exposing political coordination and most regular viewers can only muster up the strength to bitch about vague emails the "other" side was involved in.

I think everyone agrees that this is like one bank robber suing 2 of his partners for getting him involved.
Except that this bank robber is putting evidence of the heist in his complaint.

Why do you keep on acting like WAPO and NYT are some sort of objective papers? They are great at reporting news, but their ideological editorial bent is clearly to the left.

Why would a conservative trust wapo? nyt? These sites are left wing.

Recordings and emails aren't "alleged". Might not meet the burden of proof, but that is different from evidence.

I'm just being a pest...but it is not evidence until it is admitted. This requires authentication and testimony.

Boom. Lawyered.

And i don't even practice anymore. Feel that burn?!?!
