And possibly the finest motion picture of the the century so far.
As much as I hate to admit it, Nolan is the finest director working today and Hardy is the best actor currently working.
I love Villeneuve and the Coens etc, but Dunkirk is simply the best work of film probably since No Country For Old Men.

Lol no, but it was a great time at the movies.

Why stop at this century? I haven't even seen it and I know its the best movie that has ever and will ever be made. Until Nolan's next movie of course.

Oh look, another extreme statement by Jack Ruby...
It was awesome, but pump the brakes

Not only was it the greatest war movie of all time, it is probably the best thing that's ever happened to me.

Other than the invention of the choke-n-tug, of course.

Thanks Stanley Kauffmann.

It was genuinely good, but it's not even the best movie from the last two or three years.

Best movie since the Revanant easy. But The Revenant had problems Dunkirk does not.

The Revenant is not a very good movie. In fact, I would describe it as an absolutely beautiful letdown.

This. The script was complete arse. A technical marvel with nothing of substance. Whiplash, Ex Machina, Mad Max, La La Land, Nightcrawler, and many others were much better.

I agree. And I was so pumped for that movie. It was a good movie in the theater but have no desire to watch it again

Hyperbole Award of the Week!!
The alternative view of Dunkirk is a bunch of dudes on a beach waiting for a boat (with really over the top music)

Nightcrawler was incredible. Sit down.

And the alternative view of 9/11 is that it was an inside job orchestrated by the Illuminati and Israeli government.
