Women hitting men and men retaliate in kind. Thought?

I know this is a touchy subject for some but I'm curious to see how and what some people think about this based on certain situations that have occurred in the past years concerning college football players.
De'Andre Johnson is the first name that stick out. The QB from FSU who struck the girl at the bar after she said some choice words and tried to hit him. Also Joe Mixon of OU who was pushed and slapped by a young woman. Although his initial reaction was due to her guy friend who had a choice word for Joe, she stepped in physically. Of course some cases are worse than others; a measly slap compared to a fist, an athlete compared to a little college girl, as well as the strength difference.
Before some rant-tards go crazy, i'm not saying hitting a woman is okay. I'm beyond against it! But i do see how media, victims, and other people target blame one way rather than both. Big factor could be of course due to the sex of the victims. I'm just curious when the line between one wrong over the other becomes skewed to where the opposite sex see's no charge or fault by those of higher power in comparison to the guy who "losses it all". Yeah, i get the whole "well she's a girl" and i understand not every athlete gets another chance after such an indecent, but i am curious as to the thoughts of others on "is the guy wrong for swinging back?" in some cases.

Women want equality, right?
There's no difference between men and women, right?

I've made it 36 years without hitting a woman but if a woman comes at me with blood in her eyes then you can bet I'm going to defend myself, I'd rather not lay hands on a woman but if I have to I will.

Generally a bad idea. Just play defense until she chills out. Unless she's like a female Marine opening up a can of whoop arse on you...then by all means fight back.

don't do it. it's not fair, but you just can't. suck it up.

You cannot claim equality between the sexes and then attempt to justify why it is NEVER appropriate or acceptable to hit a woman.
The underlying premise of such an argument completely defies the meaning of 'equality.'
ETA: If anyone cares to engage me in a formal debate about your decision to support an anti-hitting-woman stance, I will gladly accept the challenge.

Women that hit men are worse people than men that hit women. Its a fact.
My argument is that for a woman to hit a man she has to believe one of 2 things. 1)That she can take a man in a fight or 2) That he wont hit her back.
If its the former, that means she is so stupid that she is literally a worthless person.
IF its the latter, which it is 99/100, that means she goes "This person im looking at cares enough about my physical well being that he would let me beat on him and not retaliate.....thats respectable....think ill hit him in the face." That person is a piece of shite.

I will defend myself with necessary force.
If she's 100lbs of hair, eye shadow, and bone, I'm probably shoving her out of my way.
If she's 250lbs crazy, she's going to catch a fist if I feel like my well being is threatened

Yeah, a pro caliber athlete is wrong for caving in the face of some chick that weighs 115 for some bullshite half-slap.

Like someone said, play defense until someone can stop it. If she comes at you with a weapon and you're cornered, unleash the fury.

That's why these modern equality movements are all complete bullshite. They want all the advantages with none of the responsibility.

If she pushes or hits you once or twice just let it go and leave her alone. If she's attacking and won't stop it's time pop her one time and hope witnesses are on your side

Equal rights, lefts, hooks, jabs, and uppercuts.

Bill Burr has summed it up perfectly...
You Should NEVER Hit a Woman
quote:
One time she was watching this show. It was like a poor excuse for The View and they started talking about domestic violence. All right, for the nine-millionth time this year, they’re talking about domestic violence. Just in case, you know, you didn’t get the memo, you know. Evidently, you know, just some people didn’t get it.
It’s not okay to slam your wife’s head into the cupboard drawers because she didn’t dry the can opener off properly, you know. It’s gonna frickin’ rust, right. How do you not know not to do that shite? Do they really have to keep talking about it? Who, who — it’s like wife beaters watching for oh! frick, now I get it. Upsy daisy, sweet heart; here we go – aww. There you go.
So at the end of the hour, they come to the logical conclusion. They’re like there is no reason to hit a woman. There is no reason to hit a woman. And I was just like, really? I could give you like 17 right off the top of my head. You can wake me from a drunken stupor; I could still give you like nine. Dude, there’s plenty of reasons to hit a woman, you just don’t do it.
But to sit there and suggest that there’s no reason; dude, the level of ego behind that statement, what are you levitating above the rest of us, you’re never annoying? Women, how many times have you thought about slapping your frickin’ guy in the head this week?
There you go, every day. You didn’t do it, right? Dude, it drives me nuts. There’s no reason, there’s no reason. Really, no reason? How about this? You marry a girl, you fall in love, you buy her a house. You go to work every day paying off the house, you come home one day, she’s banging the next door neighbor, hands you divorce papers. You’ve got to move out, sleep on a futon and still pay for that house that she’s gonna stay in. No reason.
I’m not saying you should do it. But there’s plenty of frickin’ reasons in that arc of that story. No, that’s the thing. Really, that’s the thing. I hate that saying there’s no reason. Obviously, I’m saying to hit a woman, you know. But saying there’s no reason, I think that’s crazy. When you say there’s no reason that kills any sort of examination as to how two people ended up at that, at that place. If you say there’s no reason -you cut out the build up, you’re just left with the act. How are you going to solve it if you don’t figure it out?
Look how awkward it is in here right now. I said you shouldn’t hit a woman. I’m just saying how come you can’t ask questions. You can only ask questions about what the guy did, you can never ask about the woman, why is that?
You Should NEVER Hit a Woman
