Can we admit what polling has become?

It has become a Dem tool to suppress Republican voting. Pure and simple. Fudge the numbers enough, make things hopeless, and people will throw their hands up and avoid voting. Problem is, the media's credibility being so low has also hurt the polling data's effectiveness.
In any case, watching the party of victimhood lose

That and polling companies charging a boat load of money to tell Dems what they want to hear up until two days before.
30M of outside money needs to be spent somewhere outside of walkin around money

If anything, I think it encourages republicans to vote and dems to stay home in a reverse psychology manner. If we see we are down, we will show to the polls to try and win and vice versa.

Yep. It's the same with with approval rating polls. They are all worthless

Perhaps you are right. They've been getting absolutely rocked since 2014.

Nothing less than a tool for manipulation by leftists in the media

It's also to help make their cheating less blatant. try to change expectations so can cast more illegal votes.

Ask Gary Johnson about the validity of political polling

And some on here was arguing that Nate Aluminum wasn't tweaking his methods in order to affect votes
Polls are now designed only to shape votes

Sigh
Late polls pushed Handel ahead in the RCP average, and aligned with a bump for Trump.
Polls in the primary accurately reflected that Ossoff was very close to winning outright.
If you want to believe in cooked polls, that's fine, but some polls definitely deserve credit (Trafalgar).

The polls had him at +5, right up until she won by +7
That's 12 points. Sorry, No way you get that disparity without cooking the books

Mate, you strike me as a true believer in the system.

They need to realize that with nobody having land phones anymore and no one willing to answer the door for anyone but an Amazon delivery anymore, there's just no way to reliably poll anymore. Polling is dead. All you can do is have internet polls that just get brigaded by trolls.

That's a great upvote getting comment
It's just not true
RCP average swung to Handel at the end, with GOP polling coming it, for the first time in a while at Handel +2.
Is a 5 point difference there because we're cooking polls against ourselves?

Sigh all you want. Leading up to the end they had Ossoff up by 5 points 7 days ago. 2 days ago by 3.
The whole narrative was this was headed to a Trump disaster.

Stop talking like SirWinston
what system? If anything, I'm more likely to be labeled a contrarian (but I object to that)
