I assume you meant he wasn't able to make eye contact. Nonetheless, that didn't happen. Probably the opposite. Walker wanted the ball.

He did make eye contact. That was the signal to let CPM know he wasn't ok. Who cares if Walker wanted the ball? Of course he wanted the ball, but if he wasn't 100% then it's Cpm's job to sit him.
