I commend him for pulling himself instead of potentially hurting the team going forward by not being 100% too.
Just a shite situation.

Looks like he was trying not to cry out there. Must be in real pain

Walker looks to be in serious pain

Was Gilbert warming up prior to walker pulling himself?

Yes it's a shite situation caused by our coach.

Our coach is gonna win this game without walker

Thanks. We're all watching the game.

Gilbert sure was ready fast, seemed almost preplanned.

Why no ice or anything? Why allow him go lean on his arm on the rail?
Posted on 6/19/17 at 6:50 pm to da prophet
Almost seemed like he was on a pitch count. Why would he look to the dugout like that?

I would move Hess to starter and out of closer role for future games. Let Newman close. Without Walker, Hess is our best option for a third starter particularly with Gilbert throwing tonight.

Probably talked about it in the dugout between innings. I'd imagine they knew what's up

I think Walker told CPM that his arm was hurting after the previous inning. CPM ask him if he can just pitch until Gilbert gets warm. Thus the minimal conversion with the bench when he was ready to step out of the game and Gilbert being ready.
