Well, you're the one who said she said he shouldn't be playing baseball. I'm just trying to understand why in the world as an 11/12 year old, she is available for comment.
I just want to make perfectly clear--I am in no way excusing this dude, hoping he makes the bigs, saying he is anything but a piece of shite. I just find this story interesting because of its uniqueness. Also, was this a 1st cousin? Do the sibling parents no longer speak? Have the grandparents disowned him. Is his nuclear family completely ostracized? Do they all pretend like it never happened? Such a weird story.

According to the original report, most of the pitchers family sided with him and ostrosized the victim and her mother from family events because they thought he could have pro potential

Good for him. He gets to now pick a team that's a perfect fit and go where he wants.
Or he will become a high school assistant coach making 12k a year.

He'll take a minimum deal and in 2 years there will be a bidding war for him.
No he won't
quote:
I have so much compassion for his victim, but I lost a lot of it if she now thinks following him around trying to ruin his future is acceptable.
The victim is 11 years old you fricking a-hole. The pitcher didn't follow his punishment which rolled over the privacy to open it up for a newspaper to find out about it and ask the mother about the situation. The victim isn't crusading against this dude, she's fricking 11.

He has done everything the courts have told him to do and HER PARENTS SIGNED OFF ON IT, as part of the sentence of his case. If she's mad, be mad at her parents. I swear to God, if she takes money for this, it will anger the country in his favor and HER actions will be backfired.
She is ELEVEN AND SHE GOT frickING MOLESTED WHEN SHE WAS SIX. You think she knows the intricacies of our justice system?? And you want her to blame her fricking mother because a 15 year old decided to molest her when she was 4-6 years old?
Serious dude, you need help.

What high school will hire a registered sex offender?

They can't and will not.
Actually he did it was a clerical error that made this public.

I think the nature of his crime combined with the fact that he was being home schooled points to there being more to this story....
Just not sure if it's a) He was molested himself at some point or b) There had been other "red flag" incidents/indicators when he was not home schooled at some point.

I wonder if the girl developed encopresis or started to withdraw. As those are the first signs you have for sexual abuse in minors. Then they get the rage later on.

I do. But i would NEVER let anyone have access to her 5 yrs later to rehash this and freshen her memory of the situation. I'm sure I might have attempted not kill the POS....but yrs later when she is a young girl growing into a lady, use my actions to bring her name back into the spotlight and cause her more harm, is unacceptable
You realize the only reason this got out was because HE didn't follow his registry right?
And maybe she wouldn't have to protect her 11 year old daughters innocense from childhood trauma, if ya know....LUKE HEIMLICH HAD DECIDED NOT TO MOLEST HER IN THE FIRST PLACE. Stop blaming an 11 year old victim and her mother and start blaming the sick frick who can throw 90 plus mph

He did register correctly. It was the Corvallis police that did not apply the law correctly. He was not an Oregonian.

Okay even in that case, it wasn't as if the case was brought up by the victim or the family, the case was publicized by the paper
And even if the victim or mother did brig it up, I have zero sympathy for him

I have sympathy for him in that he followed the law and did what he was supposed to do. The paper should have never had access to his records either.
I do not have sympathy for what he did as a 15 year old.

She said it...i said I'm not sure if there was a "press conference or an interview, or some sleaze reporter following her to a playground and asking her questions.
That is all that will come of this. She will now have this hung around her neck publicly....which is EXACTLY what I wouldn't have done to my daughter. Shame on her parents, and the media. Yes, it costs the guy a lot of money, but at what cost to this innocent child? I say a great cost to her over something she probably has ZERO memory of before this month.

I do, and the courts found him guilty of a crime.

This should be of NO relevance. That's the stupid part of your thought process.
What if he had played with matches several times and burned down a house killing 20 people? Could he play sports as an adult?
He is/was a guilty person. He didn't "re register and should face the legal consequences for that. As I stated, my daughter's molester would not be able to escape my pursuit of him...but not 6 yrs later because I find out he is a success at something.
It's just horrible for the little girl, period.

Wow, you are so fricked up, I can't even begin to comprehend your thought process. You're genuinely a bad person.

You don't think a girl remembers getting molested for two years? This didn't happen to her when she was three months old. It ended when she was six years old and she's just 11 now. You don't forget about that shite. She'll think about it every day. Every time she meets a man. Every time she contemplates being intimate with someone. Every time she considers trusting someone. frick you.
