Obama to Comey: "I hope you can see your way to letting this go, to letting Hillary go. She is a good person. I hope you can let this go."

Do you think Republicans would be silent on this? Not a chance in hell.

You know what's hilarious?

Is that Bill Clinton, on behest of his wife, whom both Lynch and Comey thought was going to be the next President, DID in a round-about way almost assuredly do this exact thing.

And guess what... Comey suddenly makes a public statement as if he were AG, judge, and jury, and even after listing out a dozen reasons why Hillary could and should be prosecuted, out of nowhere suddenly exonerates her and closes the case.

Think about it. The expected First Husband tells Comey's immediate boss, Lynch, to tell Comey to drop the case OR ELSE, and next thing you know, the case is dropped.

EXCEPT... Trump wins.

Yeah I get all of that. But how does that clear Trump? If Bill was wrong to do what he did, then so is Trump. You can't have it both ways.

For the record, I'm all for an investigation into Lynch/Clinton.

I don't think that exonerates Trump.
