re: Walking vs. Riding

We had a tee time at Santa Rosa club a couple weeks ago. It had been raining some, but not anything abnormal for Florida. Got there and they said no carts allowed. I said you mean cart path only. No sir, no carts on the course. We won't leave the concrete, I promise. No can do sir. I'll pay you more money, the heat index is 207. Sorry sir, it's walk or nothing. So we did. First time I have walked since high school golf. It sucked. Spilled my Bloody on my shirt on hole 2. Had the chafe by hole 7. Actually played pretty well but quit at the turn +1. Golf without a cart aint what I'm after.
