I'm not sure if I deserve a big dish, but regardless I was wrong about this team to an extent.

I remember posting in a thread early April how I didn't think this team had done enough to that point to host. Actually that was pure facts, but I honestly thought this team was terrible and poorly coached.
I didn't think this team would accomplish anything. I thought PM's days were behind him and we were in trouble.

With that said, I've always been a passionate LSU baseball fan. Probably as equal as to football. I never stopped supporting, watching or attending. I just thought we weren't very good. And maybe we weren't. We definitely were not playing up to level we should have and that's become apparent.

So I can no longer say anything negative about this team. I believe we are one of the best teams in the country. I think we're playing good ball and clicking on all cylinders. I have to apologize to CPM as well. I look forward to the next couple weekends in Baton Rouge.

Sooooooo...Serve it hot or cold, because I don't care. The Tigers are on a mofo'n war path to Omaha!

They surprised me as I had them in critical condition not too long ago. They are playing well in all facets.

This team was frustrating to watch at times because of what we saw last season. The way they turned it on last year, and we returned so many, many of us expected the team to be strong out of the gate. The pitching was expected to be much improved too. It didn't happen. Many times I asked out loud to friends and even on here "what is the problem? we've seen them play better than this". Within the last month they have turned it on to be the team we thought they should be. I'm guilty too.

Let's just hope they keep their feet on the gas pedal and drive this thing straight through Omaha and over anything in their way.

I can appreciate this

Dude, it's baseball....anything can happen. Don't overreact until the season is over(something I've learned since I've gotten older in my (fanhood).

Nothing wrong with being passionate, just don't let it turn you into one of the posters on here that claims to love the tigers, but every post reads like hate mail.

Don't eat crow, just enjoy the ride with the rest of us

How about you have some fricking perspective? When lsu loses a random midweek game in March you're in a nuclear meltdown mode and want everyone fired and the team is shite. Then we're doing better and now you're full speed ahead "on a warpath to Omaha" and everything is sunny and happy. Hope sorry for calling for CPM's job and you're ready to cheer on your Tigers. And now you want to tell the world how proud you are. frick you.

What happens if they don't make it to Omaha. Then you're a whiny bitch again and you'll be spewing your negative shite again. Realize we aren't the best or worst team in the country and teams go up and down. Learn to accept this and your life will be a lot easier.

You are the best kind of fan. The mindless drones, that pump sunshine no matter what, are the idiots.

-I didn't think LSU's hitting would come around...it did.

-I didn't think Walker would be a solid 3rd in the rotation...he is.

-There was a point in the season where I didn't think LSU would host a Regional more less become a National Seed...they are.

I can keep going but I'll just enjoy the Crow gumbo and cheer on the Tigers to make it to Omaha.

Pump the brakes guys.

He does this every year. It's the post season he puts so much pressure on his team that they get tight as turtle twat.

I hope this year is different but this is when we find out if anything has changed.

Why would you apologize for having higher expectations of CPM and his coached team was delivering? If you were critical of him for not having the team ready to play, and losing to inferior teams, that is not a bad thing. I believe most on here that were critical were not settling for the team's performance, in the moment, and that is on the coach. It is very encouraging to see CPM get this team up and hot at the right time.

This thread should be 50 pages with the rantard baseball experts we've had this season.

Game against Tulane was a low point. So glad this team could turn it around.

I am not saying anything till we get to Omaha and see what happens. Tired of 2 and q. Don't want to hear that's baseball as usce played in three straight ships, vandy played in two straight and so did Virginia all in the last 7 years after the bats and balls were changed. If they can do it lsu should be able to as well.

It looks like your real problem is being a slow learner. How many times does a PM coached team have to start off slow and get hot down the stretch for people like you to take a more measured stance? Maybe say something like "man things don't look good right now...but we've made 5 straight national seeds...so I'm still hopeful and have faith"...but no..we don't get that. And then you make a thread so you can now openly root for LSU and try to save face after having zero faith in the coaches and players. You want to have your cake and eat it too...or crow I guess.

Well..welcome back aboard

They were not playing like in back in early April. Not sure how many folks on here saw this turnaround although I think everybody expected this at the beginning of the season.

One thing that I caught from some of the commentary from CPM... They looked like poo poo in some of the midweek games because they were so young and he had to play people to find out who they could count on at the end of the season. This was true especially with pitchers. That may drive the fans nuts but that is good coaching

Why do LSU fans only see terrible or the best.

The team had some deficits, especially pitching up and down the staff. They are pitching it much better and with Hitting at top and bottom of lineup, who knows. If Jordan and Coomes come alive we will play a lot more baseball
