ADT charges like, what, $100? Yes you are tied to their monitoring for three years, but even at 50 bucks a month, that's 1800 after 3 years, and you got the monitoring.
But if you are still without sheetrock, here's something I would totally reccomend: piping for pest control. The house I had in Katy had this. It's hooked up to a port outside the house. Every three months, pest guy would come out with a pressurized hose and spray into the system from the port. The lines inside the walls have tiny holes in them and the chemical drips inside the wall.
I barely had any pest issues at all. Maybe the occasional dead bug.
