It's a pitching-heavy league

Only Paez (SS from Coastal Carolina last year) is hitting better on the team and he should've started in A+

Eh, I'm not a tebow hater at all but anyone has to admit the dude brings the spotlight to himself whether good or bad. I don't blame him one bit, if anything he does a great job of keeping himself in the spotlight and keeping that endorsement money flowing in. It's his life and he has 'F U money' so he can do as he pleases.

He's up there with the Kardashians as someone who does a great job staying in the limelight with the fewest actual accomplishments,
but again good for him. They are both 1%ers so good for them, but don't cry about the negative pub because that's part of their career.

How does he shamelessly promote himself? Does he hold constant press conferences to spotlight himself? I'm not on Twitter, but is he constantly on there to bring public attention to himself? In other words, all the attention on him is generated by others (ESPN, MSM), not Tebow.

As far as the Kardashians, how stupid are you? Tebow won a Heisman, 2 NCs, made NFL rosters and led a team to a playoff victory. You, know, actual accomplishments. Idiot...

I love all the Rantards that come out of the woodwork to fluff and "support" Tebow...as if they are somehow above sitting on the couch with half a stick of andouille hanging out of their mouth talking about how every player that isn't a Tiger/Saint/etc fricking sucks.

Wasn't a fan of Tebow while he was in college (same goes for anyone who chose to play for the coward sack of shite Urban). With that said, I have the utmost respect for him. The world would be a much better place if we all strived to be like him. Tebow is truly God's messenger to mankind.

It baffles me why people who go after something they want get such a bitter reaction out of people.

I think it's mostly because he's being given opportunities for not much more than his name. People get bitter and shite over that stuff.

What are you talking about? This baseball thing might be the only thing he got off of his celebrity; however, he made his own name.

They should just promoted him to big league bullpen catcher/team Chaplain. Matt Harvey needs some Jesus in his life.

Im pulling for him, but i think AA pitching will eat him up. Single A is a lot of raw but talented guys picked out of high school to try to learn the game and see how they develop.

What does any of that have to do with baseball? He was a very good College Football player that got lucky as hell and was put on a great UF football team.

I'm not a Tebow hater at all, but saying that he is not a lucky SOB for all the media love he gets is ignorant. How many QBs once cut like Tebow was from the Broncos would of kept the coverage that Tebow did?

Tebow frankly is not much different than AJ McCarron who stays in the limelight because of his wife.

Tebow seems like a great guy, but there's not a single one of us that doesn't know he does all these antics just to keep up his celebrity image. I'm not hating on him one bit, it works for him and he has made millions off of it.

Tell me, what Tebow has done to earn being a minor league player at the age of 29? The only thing he did was bring the attention, his first week his jersey sales led MLB. So it worked for the Mets, since then he has become a decent low A hitter. Good for him, i hope him the best as I don't have any feelings at all for him.

I'm not gonna lie, if they promote him to the majors, I'll tune in.
