No they are not. I don't understand why it's difficult to write accurate titles. The Univeraity is a part of no such event.

Some students at Harvard are organizing a separate black ceremony. That is completely different. Your OP is click baitish bullshite.

While true, Holmes Field is on campus. Do you think a white student event would pass muster?

Yep.

A Latino group has been doing this for 3 years already.

This isn't any different than a fraternity or religious group having a small ceremony for their group.
