I'm pretty bullish on BNB..
but ada marketcap seems more like a cult type valuation than an actual utility valuation
cult type coins can stay high tho so I don't see ada going away anytime soon: see xrp and doge

More on that “transitory inflation”…

Everyone in this thread is likely going to make it through the coming years and thrive even, but I feel like we are staring at the abyss as a society with respect to our sovereign currency

The Office of Management and Budget said it expected consumer prices would rise 4.8% in the fourth quarter from a year earlier, up sharply from the 2% rise that the Biden administration forecast in May. Officials see those price pressures quickly abating next year, with the consumer-price index rising 2.5% in the fourth quarter of 2022, more than the 2.1% they expected in May, and reaching 2.3% in 2023.

To me it means there's tons of pent up money waiting to be unleashed on defi if/when they launch smart contracts.
My body is ready.

Anyone heard about game coin? New project started by a couple guys from BR. I think it has potential.

yea a cult of ada loyalists who have been waiting for years to use defi when they could have been using it on other chains
I'm going to play on ada too btw because I think there's some alpha there with sundaeswap

quote:I think so. Big DeFi ecosystem only getting bigger when Columbus 5 upgrade goes through in a couple weeks. They have the biggest algo stablecoin (UST) and as demand rises for UST and more are minted, an equal value in Luna is burned. The big run up recently coincided with the ability to use eth as collateral on anchor protocol, and in the near future they’re going to do the same with solana.
Do we need to start paying attention to this? Top 10 type?

I’ve been farming ANC since launch. Not sure it’s sustainable long term but I love the idea for a flyer play. Also you can’t beat negative borrowing rates

Thegamecoin.net
I would link it but not sure if that’s allowed.

Anybody else been toying with ICP short-term. Have flipped it twice in last couple weeks. Bought at 56 and sold both times at 70. It's turned right back after the dip both times, so it's been a quick flip.

Can someone please tell Solana to pump the brakes a little. It's making me feel bad.

Anyone have thoughts on when to buy Solana? Now or wait?

I am a long term hodler.

I'll honestly say this, the more thought and study I put into SOL the more I'm really starting to think this has really strong long-term potential. It's well built, fast, cheap to transact. But much larger, it's getting a foothold in the use case market, especially for the younger generations that are going to constantly buy online art, characters for RPG games, music and films. (they have projects in the works to sell that too). And in my thought process, much like Amazon gained a foothold in selling fungable shite online, SOL appears to have laid a great foundation to continue to sell non-fungable shite to a generations of kids that almost literally live in their phones and I think it's definitely possible it can really soar on the back of that.

I thought I was too late at $56, $67 and $76. If finally said I’d join the ride at $86, added more at $92 and will probably regret not adding more at $110.

Yall are gonna make me buy some SOL, aren't yall? Just in time for a downturn.

I just added more at $111.00. I may regret it, but I am regretting waiting so long on BTC and ETH thinking they couldn’t keep going.
