At the moment I'm looking into T, KR, ABBV, MO, JNJ, SON, and WMT.

MAIN is a hell of a company. 14 dividends a year, exceptional fundamentals

CIM
Pays quarterly dividends of $0.50. Great return on a $20 stock. Even better yield when it was $16/share.

Why ENLK? Other than current yield of ~8%

On my phone and can't link analyst reports, but basically the balance sheet is solid, they're strategically placed in several sectors of their market, and they have the liquid assets to finance their expansion plans. The only downside I've identified is a contract that expires in 2019.

But this thread is about divi stocks, so 8 and change should be enough.

Here's some of mine-BP, POT, MOS, IHD, ANH, NLY. I'm looking at TNH when I think N is bottoming out. Beware of MLP tax concerns when looking at dividend payers.

T, VZ, MO, CVX, OHI

Something with more risk that pays well is ARCC, a BDC (small business lender).

I own all of them.

Has anybody checked out Ford?

Today, on Fox, an analyst said GM should drop its dividend. That could send buyers to safety at Ford.

Conversely, it could weaken Ford also, a drop in GM dividend payments is not a good sign for American car makers. I have not researched either, i did own some Tesla but dropped it because it is too speculative.

I have been using solely focused on dividend growth investing for the last 10 years. To me dividend growth is everything.

Time and dividend growth will make you rich.

My first tip would be to not overpay for the stock, pay close attention to the P/E ratio at the time of purchase.

I just heard the tease. I did not hear the commentary.

I also heard a statement from Toyota a few days ago that they think autos in America have peaked. I guess they think they (and everyone else) will be selling fewer cars next year.

The biggest problem with dividend stocks, especially the ones that look so great when they pop up on a screener, is that they are on the way down. Nothing worse than chasing a 4% dividend, just to watch it lose 8% in value over the course of the same year.
