Most Mentally "F*ck-You" Sport/Position... Golf, Kicker, Closer, Tennis, or Boxing/MMA

Most might say golf, but closers have far fewer chances to win, and kickers have even fewer.

Golf at the masters in the hunt would be so fricking hard to handle.

Golf.
It's all on you. Cant blame nobody else.

Golf, because you're literally all by yourself with no help. No teammates to correct your mistakes like a closer or anything. Every step of the process is on you in golf.
But I may be biased because I can kick a football and throw a baseball decently well, but I suck at golf so I view that as the harder sport / easier to make a mistake in

Golf easily

I say golf because the mental aspect exists throughout the entire contest. Plus, You, and You alone are responsible for the outcome of whatever you are doing.
Not so much for kickers. Maybe ths o was -3 on turnovers up until your kick. If you miss, you didn't lose that game. Your team did.

Golf. A kid I watched grow up that watching him on the course you'd swear he'd he had ice water in his veins had a 2 footer to tie for the lead and go to a playoff in the US Open.
I'd have mortgaged the house he'd have made it. He missed.
His name is Stewart Cink

Just think of every little thing that goes in to each shot on each hole then having to do that like 300 separate times over 4 days. The holes largely play differently every time you play it. It has to be draining.

frick, I miss Craig Kimbrell. Not that he'd have many chances to win today.

Goaltending/keeping in hockey or soccer would be a bitch. 90% of the game you do nothing then suddenly you have to be on and you're only noticed when you frick up.
Golf and MMA are still top 2 though.

I can see very few people have done mixed martial arts. The amount of time it takes to get good at it is overwhelming.

I've never been more mentally drained than after a 3 hour tennis match in high school. I couldn't imagine the pressure in a fifth set at a major.

I was scared for Carl Edwards (relief pitcher for the Cubs, not driver) in game 7 vs the Indians, he looked like a kid on the mound and IDK who's mind wouldn't be racing when 1 pitch loses the WS.

Kicker would suck because it is literally your only job. No wonder they are head cases.
