7+ years of constant bitching and meaningless votes against Obamacare and they produced NOTHING!
What he did end up proposing for a replacement was a terrible option that was nothing more than tweaks to the ACA. Ridiculous.
I may not vote for another Republican in national election for years. At the very least I will be cancelling all of my financial support.

I wanted to kick them out 6 years ago in 2011 when it was clear they weren't serious about anything they said during Obama's first 2 years
Trump was the only Republican I voted for in 2016.
Didn't vote for any Republicans apart from Ted Cruz and Ron Paul in 2012.
Where have all you guys been.

I agree! But who is there to vote for? I hate most democrats & republicans are no better. We need another party to oppose the uniparty.

This shite again.
HFC made the party unmanageable. No one wanted to lead that dumpster fire that had become the Republican Congress; so Ryan got drafted.
frick the HFC. Until I see some proof that they accept less than perfect solutions, they can DIAF.

make no mistake, this is just as much trumps mess. he's the one who campaigned on pre-existing conditions and the like.

Good luck finding a replacement that either wing of the party will tolerate.

When in doubt, blame it all on Trump.
While he bears some responsibility for this fiasco, your position is based on pure hatred for one person, not politics.

I'm not even fighting on behalf of GOPe anymore. But let's say we do this.
First, they'll still be in congress. So even if you assume Freedom Caucus did not have any members contribute to Ryan having to water down the bill to begin with (unlikely), those that were in that camp will still be there and will still be able to thwart the plans of the new leadership.
Of course, maybe you mean kick them out of Congress entirely, which is fine, but then we're back to the TP days of having absolute dogshit candidates that get to Congress, bitch and complain loudly for years, before ultimately doing very little (like a particular caucus before today).
Ultimately, this problem is close to permanent because of us. While I'd love better governance, it's kind of absurd that many of us sit at home going "well I sure hope my rep doesn't roll back the preexisting condition rule" and then expect everyone else's legislator to be courageous and do the right thing over worrying about reelection.

Electing a new speaker if Ryan gets outed will shatter the party.

He was all in on this bill why doesn't he deserve blame?

He whipped for it as hard as he could. And failed.
