Or may not have much interest in watching either due to perception or bad reviews from others in general...

Back to the Future III. Haven't watched it, but it seems to be a bore

Taken 2 & 3

Caddyshack 2

BttF3 is not as good as the other 2 movies, but it's still worth the watch if you like the first. I mean they have ZZ Top and all.

Yeah, best to avoid Caddyshack 2.

Taken 3... pretty sure I watched 2 at some point.

Godfather 3... I have the boxed set and still haven't even gotten around to watching it.

Caddyshack 2

Terminator Genisys

Avengers: Age of Ultron

Any X-men movie after X2, except I did see Deadpool, which is more of a spinoff than a sequel, I guess.

Grease 2

S. Darko

I'm sure there are many many more... too many movies get sequels that aren't needed.

I saw the first two Tim Burton Batman movies in the theater. I refused to watch any after that.

Mad Max 2. I hated the original so much. I did watch Fury Road and hated that too so I'm never watching 2.

Godfather 3. Michael Corleone died when Pacino went full Pacino in the 80s, and I've never understood why they made it even worse with that grey flat top, no thanks.

A Good Day to Die Hard
Bad Santa 2
Dumb and Dumber To
Sin City 2
Terminator Genisys

I love the originals of all of the above, but I have no interest in ever seeing any of these sequels.

Any of the last...2? 3? 17? Hobbit movies. I'm a big Tolkien fan and even I couldn't muster the basic mental fortitude to continue after that first movie. Gah! Disappointing because I loved the LotR ones. Extended editions and all. Even if the Scouring of the Shire should have been fricking filmed. If they made the movies too long for the theater, put them as extras on the DVDs since Jackson was already shooting scenes he knew would have to wait for home viewing anyway.

I got a little ranty and off-topic there, didn't I? Sorry. Short answer: the Hobbit.
